Pulkit Arora, Matilda Boese-Wong and Carrisse Uta’i

Team Bio

Pulkit is a writer-director of Indian origin based in Tāmaki Makaurau. His short Anu won the Audience Award and Emerging Talent award at NZIFF 2023 (MUBI, 2024). Previously, his debut short Milk Toffee premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2021, and his episode for 2020 anthology Home Stories released on Netflix.

Matilda is a Chinese/Japanese Kiwi filmmaker. Her multifaceted portfolio includes fiction, documentary, and music videos. Her work has featured in the Asian Aotearoa Arts Hui and Wellington Museum. A 2020 MFA graduate, she's skilled in production and management, most recently at Useful Media and as National Coordinator for VF48Hours.

Carrisse Uta'i (Si'umu, Aleisa) is an award-winning Pacific producer-writer. Her short "Find Where I Belong" won Best Short Fiction at FIFO Tahiti 2023 (France TV). Her latest short “KÜĪ” awaits its premiere. As co-founder of KAKAIA Productions, she champions indigenous storytelling. Recipient of 2024 Day One Vista Foundation Spirit Award.
