PASC Skill Ups! Coffee & Cameras with Daryl Wong

  • Level 2 6A Western Springs Road Auckland, Auckland, 1021 New Zealand (map)

*To keep each other safe, a negative RAT test from that morning will need to be presented on entry.

Open Day - Hosted by The Spinoff

Wanna shoot the next Marvel's Jessica Jones (2016), Stranger Things (2016) or Game of Thrones (2011-2019)? We have the cameras to do it! The same cameras used to shoot Nomadland (2020) and Atlanta series (2016-2022).

Are you an aspiring cinematographer/camera operator/assistant camera operator?

Are you a director wanting to learn more about technical side of shooting?

Are you a producer wanting to see why everyone keeps talking about Arri and RED?

Are you an actor keen to learn about the thing you're standing in front of?

Gear and technical talk is intimidating.

Coffee and Cameras is a chance for you to come explore these cameras and ask questions. We want to demystify gear and take away the intimidation factor. When DOPs/camera ops, directors, producers and actors understand where each other are coming from, it naturally leads to better working relationships; which ultimately leads to better storytelling.

Arri Amira and RED Gemini will be on display during this open day. You will have the opportunity to see and hold these cameras.

Come for a chat, stay for the coffee and cameras.
