The first Kiwi-Indian screenwriter to pen and produce an NZFC-funded feature film (Apron Strings), Shuchi Kothari writes and produces for film and television in New Zealand and India. She also heads the screen production programme at the University of Auckland and is currently writing an animated feature film set in Japan and USA.
Roseanne’s debut feature My Wedding and Other Secrets is the most successful NZ-Asian feature film to date. She has also made award-winning work across documentary, short film and TV comedy including Berlin-winning short Take 3, and hit web series Flat3. Tipped by the Hollywood Reporter as one to watch, she is currently pursuing feature opportunities in the States.

Gilbert Wong is an experienced writer and communications professional. He has held senior roles in journalism and communications, including as the Director of Communications at Auckland DHB, Research Communications Manager at the University of Auckland and as a senior writer and editor for the New Zealand Herald, Metro magazine.
A Chartered Accountant who for the past 30 years has worked in a number of industries from Sports Stadiums to Internet Start-ups, Telecommunications, Financial services, and IT. I have been fortunate to work alongside wonderful people with vision, business acumen and a care for others and the local community and I will do my best to bring these qualities to my role as PASC treasurer.
